Our Story

Welcome to our website! We are pleased to have you here. Let us introduce ourselves. We are Claire and Kelly, friends, book lovers and bookstagram bloggers. Life has funny ways of bringing people together and we met a few years ago when we worked together. We soon became really close friends. We are both mums and wives, and our gorgeous families support us and all of our bookish needs! We both absolutely adore reading and in the first lockdown in April 2020, Kelly started an online book club! We are proud owners of the @acrackinggoodread page where we document all things reading, including reviews of books we have read. Little did we know that it would lead to us having the best time planning, creating and of course reading books. We decided that we wanted to create something bespoke, handmade and perfect for gifting! So here we are 18 months on, and launching our own business!

Why did we choose Bosque Candles for our book boxes?

Bosque Candles is a sustainable candle company based in the Cotswolds. They specialise in producing candles in pottery pots made by local potters, using high quality essential and fragrance oils. Their wax is purely plant based and toxin free which in return gives you a longer and healthier burn.
